Not to mention about bugs and extra resources used on the computer, a skinned application look strange beside the rest of the applications. And Yahoo Messenger 10 makes no exception.
How to use something close to the default classic skin/operating system skin just like version 8 used to be?
- Close Yahoo Messenger 10.
- Right click on its shortcut. Properties.
- In the Compatibility Tab, make sure to check "Disable visual themes".
- Start again the program and enjoy a skinless (Classic Skin) Yahoo messenger.
P.S. Yes the Yahoo’s stupid skin color in the menu still looks annoying, but you can choose one that suits your taste.

După vreo 3 zile, îmi raportează că mănâncă vreo 75MB. Dacă ar fi luat 1,2GB, e logic că nu ar fi rămas instalat.

In opinia mea, tot ce s-a uber motorizat in yahoo mess dupa versiunea 8.0 (hai, 8.0.4 ca sa nu fiu chiar rau) face ca vremurile in care consuma RAM la nivel decent sa fie definitiv apuse
Indiferent cate te induri sa bifezi la "disable", chit ca activezi "hack-ul" de ucidere a reclamelor, 10-le te lasa sa crezi ca inghite undeva in jurul a 95 mb de ram dar dupa vreo jumate de ora se duce lejer spre 1,2 GB
